After succesful careers in computing we decided to enjoy our retirement in the South of France. Having found Les Moineaux we embarked on a programme of major restoration and refurbishment and opened in Spring 2010. Since then we have enjoyed a steady stream of visitors to this beautiful house in the Gard.

 

Our guests have delighted us with generous comments about the house and the region. We are happy to say that we are now getting repeat visitors.
 
We invite you to come and enjoy the many attractions of the area.
 
When asked by our English friends why we wanted to live in the South of France we replied with the usual "The food, the wine and the weather". To that we must add the countryside and the very welcoming people. That is a completely satisfying reply to their question.

Beautiful Villages unspoilt by tourists. Lovely view from the top terrace and a great place for outdoor meals. We found the village to be very friendly and welcoming.
